Credits

Credits are the unit of resource consumption on Adaptive. One credit is approximately $0.01 USD. Users receive daily and monthly credit allocations that vary by tier.

Note: All limits and prices are subject to change.

What costs credits?

AI operations — including text generation, media generation, web search, and other AI tool calls — consume credits and represent nearly all credit usage. On paid tiers, they are the only source of credit cost.

How AI features are counted

Your computer has built-in access to adaptive's AI to power any AI features. It can generate text, images, and audio, and access current information on the internet.

When your computer uses these AI features, we pay outside model providers for the work they do. We convert those charges into credits automatically.

Typical guideline:

  • A short text response is about 1 credit
  • A complex task like an image or audio clip is about 10 credits
